Privacy Policy for Infinite Abilities Therapy Services
This Policy relates to the personal data processed by Rebecca Radford, a registered Speech and Language Therapist, in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and Data Protection Act 2018. Protecting the confidentiality of our clients is a fundamental responsibility and legal obligation.

Health and medical information relevant to speech and language therapy services
To provide clients with professional speech and language therapy services.
To maintain records of service provision and care.
For billing and administrative purposes.

Directly from clients or their legal guardians.
Referrals from other healthcare professionals.
Through assessments, notes, and therapeutic interventions.
We will only share data:
Where it’s a legal requirement.
With other healthcare professionals for continuity of care, but only with client or guardian consent.
Where there’s a safeguarding concern.
Client records will be retained for a period of 7 years after the last interaction, or until the client’s 25th birthday, whichever is the latest, in accordance with professional guidelines.
We take the security of the data we hold seriously:
Electronic data is secured with strong passwords and, where appropriate, encryption.
Hard copies of personal data are stored securely and are only accessible by the Speech and Language Therapist.
Data is not transferred outside of the UK without appropriate safeguards.
Clients have several rights under data protection laws, including:
The right to access their personal data.
The right to correct inaccuracies.
The right to erase data, where appropriate.
The right to object to data processing.
The right to data portability.
Any data breaches will be reported to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) within 72 hours and affected individuals will be informed where there is a risk to rights and freedoms.
Any changes made to this policy in the future will be communicated to clients and will be available on request.
