Terms, Conditions and Policies

for Therapy Services from Infinite Abilities

  1. Introduction

These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern the provision of Speech and Language Therapy services, and other relevant Therapeutic or related services (“Services”) by Infinite Abilities Therapies, a private practice based in the UK, to individuals or their legal representatives (“Clients”). By engaging our Services, you agree to abide by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

  1. Consent to treatment

The signing of these Terms, and attendance for appointments constitutes giving consent to treatment and Services. We recognise that consent to an ongoing intervention is in itself ongoing, and can be withdrawn at any time. If for any reason a Client withdraws consent for treatment, Services will stop, and any pre-paid but not yet conducted Services will be organised to be refunded in line with our Cancellation Policy.

  1. Confidentiality

We are bound by standard clinical responsibilities to maintain Therapist-Client confidentiality. This applies to verbal sharing of case information, and sharing of written, image, or video data. The confidentiality of case data is subject to our Privacy and Data Processing Policy, and our Safeguarding Policy. This means there are circumstances under which we may have a moral or legal responsibility to break confidentiality in certain carefully controlled ways.

  1. Safeguarding Responsibility

We are committed to the safety and well-being of our Clients and hold a duty of care. If at any time during our relationship with a Client, we have concerns about a client’s safety, or the safety of others, we may need to take appropriate action in line with legal and ethical guidelines, including but not limited to notifying relevant local social care authorities, safeguarding services, or the police.

  1. Privacy Policy and Data Processing

Our clients’ privacy is important to us. We are governed by GDPR and the principles of confidentiality. We have a separate Privacy Policy that outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our Services, you consent to the practices described in our Privacy Policy. This policy can be found on our website.

  1. Cancellation Policy

If the Client needs to cancel or miss an appointment, we require at least 24 hours’ notice. If a Client does not attend an appointment with no notification of cancellation, the full session fee will be chargeable. If a client notifies of cancellation less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time of the appointment, 75% of the session fee will be chargeable. If a client notifies of cancellation more than 24 hours but less than 5 days before the scheduled start time of the appointment, 50% of the session fee will be payable. If a client notifies of cancellation 5 days or more before the scheduled start date of the session, no fee will be payable.

We understand that emergencies and last-minute extenuating circumstances may arise, and we will consider such situations on a case-by-case basis. The purpose of these charges is not intended to be punitive, but as a means of minimising loss of income from last minute cancellations which leave us unable to book another appointment into the cancelled slot.

In the rare event that we need to cancel an appointment, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer a rescheduled appointment or refund.

  1. Refund Policy

Refunds are provided under certain circumstances. If you have prepaid for a session and are unable to attend or the therapist needs to cancel, a refund may be issued in line with the cancellation policy. Refund requests will be processed within 5 working days.

  1. Advertising and Commission Policy

We may occasionally engage in advertising or promotional activities. In some cases, we may collaborate with third parties who refer Clients to us. In such instances, a commission may be paid to the referring party. Details of commissions will be discussed and agreed upon in advance, and if a client asks for information they will be informed if a referral commission was paid to the person who referred them. We reserve the right not to disclose the amount paid.

In some cases we may receive an affiliate bonus if suggesting a third party product leads to a Client purchasing said product through an affiliate link or with an affiliate code from us. We will never suggest third party products which we feel to be unsafe or of no therapeutic benefit to a Client.

  1. Accepted Payment Methods

We accept payment through the following methods:

  • Bank transfer
  • PayPal
  • Card payment via Stripe

Please ensure that payments are made promptly and include your invoice or reference number for easy identification.

  1. Termination of Services

We reserve the right to terminate our Services if we believe it is in the best interest of the Client or Infinite Abilities to do so, or if there is a breach of these Terms. In such cases, any prepaid uncompleted sessions may be refunded on a pro-rata basis in line with the cancellation policy.

  1. Changes to Terms and Conditions

We may update these Terms from time to time. Clients will be notified of any changes, and the revised Terms will be effective upon posting on our website.
